HOW COVID-19 AFFECTED HAJJ AND UMRAH?
In the month of February 2020 on 28th day of this month, Ministry of Hajj & Umrah announced temporary suspension of performing Hajj and Umrah for all pilgrims around the world. This is not the first time when the religious journey of Hajj & Umrah has been cancelled. Hajj has been cancelled before as well during the outbreak of plague in A.D. 967. Due to temporary closure of Hajj and Umrah the whole Hajj and Umrah travel industry faced a severe downfall. Not only Hajj Umrah travel agency but the whole world travel and tourism was pushed back 5 years. All international flights were banned from all around the world to prevent the virus spreading from country to country. It was a very sad time for Muslims and all the pilgrims who had planned for Hajj 2020. TIPS OF HAJJ & UMRAH AFTER COVID-19
In conclusion I would like to say that it is the responsibility of every pilgrim to care of themselves and to protect other pilgrim’s life. If they feel unwell or have any kind of symptoms of the virus they should stay indoors and contact the concerned doctors or start the treatment as early as possible.
